  • Dr. Drew adds, they wish they 'could be otherwise and try to live otherwise'

On Wednesday night’s sex and relationship show, a caller asked HLN’s Dr. Drew and his guests why some gay men marry straight women and “ruin their lives?”

Dr. Drew's “Loveline” co-host Simone Bienne responded, “I would say because there's a lot of shame behind it and it's difficult to still come out today in 2012 as a gay man.”

Dr. Drew added, “There are gay homophobic men … and wish they could be otherwise and try to live otherwise, but they are not that, so they can't.”
